Education
Partnering with local schools, Ykids offer a wide range of workshops, mentoring, and extracurricular learning programmes. We also offer assemblies and large school educational events such as the
Bootle Children’s Literary Festival.
What We Do:
Working with schools can involve any of the following;
1:2:1 Mentoring
During term-time, we run after school clubs for both children and youth aged 4-18. These groups range from sports, music lessons, arts, photography, make-up, homework support, computers and lots more. see our gallery for pictures!

Schools Work
We recognise that some children benefit from 1:2:1 support. We do this be designing sessions that fit in with the needs of the child/young person. We have worked with young people experiencing worry and anxiety, low moods, struggling to find employment, navigating difficult family dynamics, behaviour management as well as gang involvement.

Lessons
During the school holidays we love to take our members on trips and have themed fun-days and experiences. Making happy memories with friends is so important for growth and wellbeing.
