Families
Ykids works alongside families in different ways, from accessing support from other agencies, to peer mentoring and peer support groups and projects for the whole family to attend.

Family Support
Our Families team offer support for individual needs.

Training
We provide training for parents on a variety of subjects, including; transition between primary and high school, empathy, positive parenting, etc. See our Events page for our latest events.

Pantry
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Ykids opened a local pantry with the help and support of St Andrew’s Community Network, Fareshare UK, Foodbank and Jamie Carragher’s 23 Foundation. Families whose children are members of Ykids can pay £3.50 per week and take away over £20 worth of shopping from our store, including fresh fruit and vegetables and meat from the local butchers.

Christmas Club
Christmas is a stressful and expensive time for families, Christmas club aims to relieve some of that pressure. Similar to the Pantry, Families whose children are members of Ykids can pay £3.50 per week and take away a range of Christmas presents for their children in the lead up to Christmas.
